Two hatchlings emerged today in the sparrow’s nest under the covered porch. Mama sparrow was obviously planning this Mother’s Day tribute from the git go. The birdcam is live usually from sunrise to sunset.Here’s video of Ernie emerging from the shell (that mama would later eat for calcium), and one of Bert & Ernie clamoring [...] Military force was authorized yesterday minutes after the E.T.’s 48 hour deadline had passed. The E.T’s were given an ultimatum to stop their whale poaching and leave Earth or face military action. Here’s a recent video update/primer on the repairs underway at CERN. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is being built in a circular tunnel 27 km in circumference. [...] I’m too fast for that to catch me! This is a raw 8mm film I shot in 1989 when I was in the circus (I played saxophone in the circus band). I had it digitized recently. The battery ran out while it was drifting below the horizon. |
